Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the 5th generation mobile communication system, implementation of a large-scale multiple-inputmultiple-output system using more than 100 base station antenna elements has been studied to realize high speedand large capacity. On the other hand, with the increase in the number of antenna elements used for transmission, the computational load for precoding becomes a serious problem. Therefore, loose beamforming to select only someuseful antenna elements has been studied. In this paper, we obtained combinations of antennas by applying agenetic algorithm to antenna element selection for the loose beamforming as quasi-optimal solutions and evaluatedsum channel capacity characteristics in an indoor environment. As a result, it has been shown that it is necessary toselect appropriate antenna elements that suppress interference and enhances the desired signal. Moreover, by usingthe phase rotation of channels, it has been also shown confirmed that the channel capacity is further improved.
