Abstract(in English) | We propose ZigZag decodable coded slotted ALOHA (ZDCSA) by applying ZigZag decoding (ZD) into ALOHA scheme with successive interference cancellation (SIC). It is known that the throughput performance of conventional ALOHA schemes with SIC degrades when the channel traffic is heavy. ZD is able to suppress throughput degradation by resolving collisions of two packets, where the collided users are requested to retransmit their packets immediately in order to utilize ZD. In this paper, an optimization scheme to maximize the throughput performance of ZDCSA is proposed. It is shown that our proposed scheme suppresses the throughput degradation in high traffic region and outperforms conventional ALOHA schemes with SIC in terms of peak throughput performance in practical situation e.g., system consists of around thousand users. |
