Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose an improved method of online probabilistic frequency block-dependent activation/deactivation control at pico-base stations (BSs) in heterogeneous networks in order to improve the convergence rate of the iterative algorithm. Our previously reported method iteratively updates the activation/deactivation states of respective frequency blocks in probabilistic manner at each pico-BSs based on the change in the observed system throughput and activation/deactivation states of that BS between the past two consecutive discrete time. In the proposed method, by using the system throughput observations and corresponding activation/deactivation states for wider range of past time window, we improve the convergence rate of the iterative algorithm of the probabilistic frequency block-dependent activation/deactivation control. We show the effectiveness of the proposed method quantitatively by computer simulation considering the user mobility. |
