Abstract(in English) | For wireless communications supporting M2M/IoT, high-reliability and low-latency are two important factors. In this paper, we propose a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) scheme combined with low-rate coded orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) and automatic repeat request (ARQ). In the first transmission, the system encodes data using the conventional super-orthogonal convolutional code (SOCC) encoder. In the case of the retransmission, data is interleaved and encoded by SOCC encoder. In the case of retransmission, the receiver operates as a super-orthogonal turbo code (SOTC) decoder. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can significantly improve the throughput at the cost of increasing latency. |
