Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose compressed-sensing (CS)-aided subcarrier in-phase/quadrature-phase index modulation (SIQIM) with discreteness-aware fast iterative shrinkage-thresholding algorithm (DAFISTA). In our proposal, to significantly improve the bandwidth efficiency, the SIQIM signal, which is generated by combining subcarrier index modulated in-phase and quadrature-phase signals, is compressed by a linear transformation. The conventional compress-sensing-aided subcarrier index modulation (CS-SIM) does not employ compressed sensing technique which uses the sparsity of the signal for reconstruction of that so that the computational complexity is exponentially high. Hence, in this paper, discreteness-aware fast iterative shrinkage-thresholding algorithm (DAFISTA) is proposed for an efficient reconstruction employing the sparsity and the discreteness of the signal. We show that our proposal outperforms the conventional CS-SIM scheme both in the term of the bit-error rate (BER) and computational complexity performances via computer simulations.
