Abstract(in English) In our previous research, we showed that the iterative decoding with a log-likelihood ratio (LLR) modulator using parity check results for the low density parity check (LDPC) code provided the good bit error rate (BER) performance in the shingled magnetic recording (SMR) read/write channel. In this report, we propose a new LLR modulator modifying LLR parameters by output of a neural network. The results clarify that the proposed LLR modulator achieves no errors with small iteration compared with the conventional one.
