[Short Paper] Marketing Analysis of New Character Products by Text Mining

Abstract(in English) people become so sensitive when they offer their new character product to the market. At the start period, it will be more important for them to conduct text mining on SNS as a marketing analysis. As a case study, the paper describes the stuffed animal named DUFFY, the Disney Bear which is a new character in Tokyo Disney Sea. The popularity of DUFFY had finally increased four years later than the start day of selling the stuffed products. We conduct a SNS analysis on DUFFY and as a result we think that some improvement on the stuffed animal face and its fluffy feeling was effective on the sales increase.
