Abstract(in English) | In microwave assisted magnetic recording (MAMR), the uniform and stable oscillation of magnetization is one of the most important factors for spin torque oscillator (STO). In this paper, to get maximum microwave assist field (MA field) generated from STO, magnetic design is optimized for the spin injection layer (SIL) and the field generation layer (FGL) of STO using micromagnetics simulation. It is shown that the smaller Bs of SIL is required for larger Bs of FGL, and once the Bs of FGL was given, the other parameters can be chosen uniquely. It is also found that thicker FGL with lower Bs makes magnetization to form circular distribution in the film, but which gives even larger MA field with higher oscillation frequency. |
