Single Carrier Block Transmission Schemes for Acoustic Communications and Their Field Evaluation Results

Abstract(in English) This paper discuss wireless communication system capable of realizing land acoustic communication with a less calculation amount. Land acoustic communications, suffer from the following issues; 1) there exists time dispersion up to 10msec; 2) its signal processing has to be performed by smartphones. In order to solve these issues, this paper discusses single carrier block (SCB) transmission with good peak to average power ratio (PAPR). Next, this paper discusses a frame format and a feasibility of 8kbps-SCB transmission. Finally, computer simulation and experimental results shows that the proposed SCB transmission can operate at distance of less than 5m in 10m×10m room environment.
