Abstract(in English) An image restoration method using morphological gradients as an image prior and optimizing a structuring element by a genetic algorithm (GA) has been proposed. In this method, the morphological gradients with only one structuring element are adopted. However, depending on the image, it may be better to use several image priors of the morphological gradients with different structuring elements. In this paper, we propose a new image prior consisting of morphological gradients with several structuring elements and an image restoration method that simultaneously optimizes structuring elements used for images. The proposed method uses sub-gradients to solve the restoration problem and the GA to optimize the structuring elements. In order to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method, we compare the restoration results in the cases of a single structuring element and multiple structuring elements.
