Error Correction Algorithm for Braille Data Read by Sensors

Abstract(in English) It is difficult to get complete image of Braille dot pattern from the pressure sensor or image sensor due to fluctuation of the pressure or optical background noise. Wrong dot pattern of Braille directly causes wrong translated text, and it is important to provide correct translated text to visually impaired persons. In this paper, we propose a new algorithm to correct Braille text from wrong dot pattern read from sensors.
