Abstract(in English) | We developed the prototype of photonic node and OSNR monitor unit that can estimate the OSNR of in-service signal by using the values of total optical power and beat noise power at a radio frequency domain for dynamic and flexible photonic networks. The errors of estimated value of OSNR by the prototype of OSNR monitor unit were evaluated on DP-QPSK, DP-8QAM and DP-16QAM optical signals. The maximum error of 0.5 dB was obtained in the range of OSNR from 10 to 34 dB when the prototype of OSNR monitor unit was calibrated with a single modulation format. |
