Abstract(in English) | The rapid progress of large scale calcium imaging method enables to record tens of thousands of cells simultaneously. However, the extreme increase in amount of multi-cellular activity data makes us face with a difficult of manual analysis. Consequently, demand for analysis it automatically is increasing. Especially, how to realize the automatic cell detection with fast and accuracy is the challenge. Recently, some research groups proposed automatic cell detection using machine learning methods. But those methods are difficult to process large-scale imaging data from the super wide field microscope developed in recent years in practical time. Therefore, we developed low-computational cost cell detection (LCCD) algorithm which is can process it in practical time. We compare LCCD with previous method: constrained Non-negative matrix factorization and Suite2p. The performance of the LCCD is almost comparable with other famous algorithms. |
