[Technology Exhibit] Development of Anti-collision FMCW Radar using Iterative Interference Suppression Technique

Abstract(in English) When a number of automotive radars are densely deployed in future, inter-radar interference will become a crucial problem since it causes false detection of ghost targets and/or miss-detection of the target due to signal to noise ratio (SNR) degradation. In order to solve the problem of SNR degradation due to inter-radar interference, the authors have proposed a novel iterative interference suppression technique for automotive FMCW radar and have developed an anti-collision FMCW radar using the proposed technique in 24GHz band. This technical exhibition demonstrates that the developed anti-collision FMCW radar can stably detect the target even under inter-radar interference environments.
