[Poster Presentation] Multi-hop Control System considering Link Reliabilities

Abstract(in English) Multi-hop control networks, in which multiple controllers control multiple controlled objects through a given multi-hop network, have been recently proposed. The transmission delay in a multi-hop network depends on the selected route between transmitter (controller) and receiver (controlled object), since it is determined by the number of hops in the selected route. The multi-hop control network considering the communication delay has been proposed, which can optimize the route as well as the corresponding control inputs. However, the conventional multi-hop control does not consider the reliabilities of routes which results in the miss-selection of route and mis-calculation of control inputs. To avoid such a mis-selection due to link failures, this work proposes an optimization method considering the reliabilities of routes as well as communication delays. Simulation results reveal that the proposed scheme can achieve more reliable control than the conventional multi-hop control in the case where multi-hop networks has link-failure probabilities.
