[Poster Presentation] A study on the effect of cooperative transmission for WBAN system

Abstract(in English) In the Wireless Body Area Network system (WBAN), cooperative transmission is compared with direct communication and evaluated. The cooperative transmission is a method of communicating using a detour path by a Relay node when an obstacle is present in the communication path section, and there is an advantage that it is possible to avoid / reduce the influence by an obstacle. In this study, the BER (Bit Error Rate) is evaluated when the transmission power is changed under the WBAN environment with shielding / attenuation by the human body using computer simulation. Similarly, the energy efficiency and transmission delay will be compared the cooperative transmission and direct communication.
