抄録(和) | With the development of the automotive vehicle system, there are strong demands on establishing the future-oriented ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) which enhances the efficiency of vehicular transportation networks. The development trend of the ITS indicates the necessity of full-range vehicular information exchange. However, the existing communication systems used for V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) and I2V (Infrastructure-to-Vehicle) communication are disadvantageous in dealing with a wide range wireless network in rural areas due to their limited propagation distance. IEEE 802.22 is one of the standardized TVWS communication systems and supports long-distance fixed communication with a wide coverage of 10-30 km. It is expected to develop a cost-effective wide area I2V network by applying IEEE 802.22 to mobile communication. In this paper, we propose a novel channel estimation and phase compensation scheme applicable to the IEEE 802.22-based systems under a long-delay multipath fading environment at a high velocity of 80 km/h. The simulation results achieved the required BER for QPSK and 16QAM even in the presence of a higher order CFO (Carrier Frequency Offset) and indicate the feasibility of the wide-area mobile communication systems based on IEEE 802.22 in rural areas. |
