A method to sustain information floating and its analysis

Abstract(in English) Information exchange between mobile nodes by direct wireless communication and mobility of nodes having information spread information spatially. Epidemic communication utilizes such spatial spreading for information delivery. To prevent disordered spreading of information in epidemic communication, information floating permits mobile nodes to transmit information only in transmittable areas. Placing a small transmittable area apart from a normal transmittable area improves performance of information delivery of information floating preventing unnecessary spread of information. In this report, we first discuss this property using computer simulation results. Then, we analyze information floating by a transmittable area with an additional small transmittable area in a one-dimensional service area, and explain effects of the additional placement of the small transmittable area.
