Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, configuring wireless multi-hop sensor networks is considered using sensor and communication device in wide scale disaster area to monitor the damage situation. In this paper, we assume that one bridge is monitored as one of the traffic infrastructure, attach sensor node at important point of the biridge piers, and construct network based on wireless multi-hop communication. However, due to the assumption of a disaster situation some nodes may break down or the contention of the packet may increase since the packet occurrence frecuency increase. As a result, overflow of the buffer of the relay node occurs, the route for transferring the packet is limited, and the throughput of the system is reduced. In this study,we propose to introduce drone as a mobile relay node to maintain connectivity and communication quality in Emergency wireless sensor networks. By introducing a mobile relay node moving in the sensing area, even if the number of failed nodes increases, it is possible to prevent a degradation of communication quality. We use computer simulations to evaluate the proposed method and results reveal link quality of sinknode to endnode.
