Abstract(in English) | In recent years, the environment that can easily realize new network services using location information has been getting prepared thanks to high functionality of mobile terminals. The authors propose location-based P2P networks that construct a logical network based on location information using GPS and P2P system. In the implementation on smartphones, however, there is a problem that, as the number of users increases, the stability of connection decreases and thus network construction becomes difficult, due to high control overhead for maintaining the P2P network. In this paper, we propose a stable location-based P2P network construction method that can reduce the number of connections of the whole network by determining the network paths based on the distance between the mobile terminals. As a result of quantitative evaluation by computer simulation, we found that the total number of connections can be greatly reduced using the proposed method. |
