Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The design of routing protocols for Vehicular Delay Tolerant Network is an important research topic. In this paper, we propose a routing algorithm which combines the message deliver strategy of Prophet protocol with the message copy control strategy of Spray and Wait protocol. We use the Opportunistic Network Environment (ONE) simulator to perform simulations. From the simulation results, we conclude that the proposed protocol outperforms several well-known VDTN routing protocols in terms of the average packet delivery ratio, average end-to-end delay and average packet forwarding overhead.
