Abstract(in English) Pairing-based cryptography (PBC) is receiving a lot of attention since it enables many innovative and multi-functional cryptographic applications based on pairing. Determining pairing-friendly elliptic curves for certain parameter is an important issue to be addressed. Barreto-Lynn-Scott (BLS) curve is pairing-friendly elliptic curve embedding degree 12 given by $E_b:y^2=x^3+b$. The usual practice of determining a BLS curve coefficient $b$ requires time-consuming mathematical operations such as modular square root and scalar multiplication. Therefore the purpose of this work is determining coefficient $b$ without such time-consuming operations. This paper proposes the efficient way to determine that by setting $b=1$ or $b=2^{6lpm2}$, $lin mathbb{Z}$ over conditions to construct the efficient tower of extension field.
