Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The coordinate transformation method (C-method) is commonly used numerical approaches to the electromagnetic scattering problem of surface-relief gratings. It is known that the C-method is stable and very effective for the shallow gratings, but the convergence property becomes unstable for the deep gratings. This paper considers the origin of the instability and shows a technique to improve the convergence property.
