Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | For large-scale disaster, it is important to secure communications to confirm safety and disaster situation. However, communication disturbance may occur due to destruction of communication infrastructure. Then, an emergency communication system using drones has been proposed. In this system, an important issue is to shorten the delay time of transmitting information. Since delay time depends highly on the flight pattern of the drones, we evaluated the delay time as the number of drones in three patterns; random waypoint, rebounding and a common flying route. It is impossible for the drones to fly permanently. In this study, we consider breaks of drones due to their battery exhaustion. In the three flight patterns, increase of delay time due to the break is evaluated by simulation. |
