Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Safety of connected and autonomous vehicles relies on security. Therefore, prevention of automotive networks from malicious attacks has been actively examined. In addition, crisis management after accidents occur has just started receiving an attention. We focus on measures to inhibit or mitigate damages of the accidents. This paper first outlines the security of connected vehicles. Subsequently, it discusses the possibility of the damage mitigation equipment that is independent from the automotive networks and the introduction of such equipment.
