Abstract(in English) | Collaborative interference canceller (CIC) has been proposed to gain receiving antenna diversity by sharing received signals with nearby mobile terminals (MTs) using a higher frequency band. Pulse amplitude mod- ulated radio over higher-frequency radio (PAM-RoHR) has been proposed as a method of signal sharing. Each cooperating MT broadcasts the discrete-time sampled received signals with higher sampling rate to the destination MTs in PAM-RoHR. In this manuscript, we conduct the computer simulations to evaluate the effect of the number of transmitting and receiving antennas on CIC with PAM-RoHR in terms of bit error rate. The simulation results reveal that the receiving antenna diversity increases as the number of cooperating MTs increases for any given the number of transmitting antennas. |
