Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper theoretically treats plane progressive waves in a compressible liquid uniformly containing many spherical microbubbles. From appropriate choices of scaling relations of some physical parameters and the method of multiple scales, high-frequency and quasi-monochromatic waves propagating with a large phase velocity exceeding the speed of sound in a pure liquid, is described by a nonlinear Schr?dinger (NLS) equation with some correction terms.
