Abstract(in English) | Based on the use of iterative channel estimation with non-orthogonal pilot sequence, we proposes a modified covariance matrix on the basis of the imperfection of a temporary criterion in probabilistic data association (PDA) for large multi-user multi-input multi-output (MU-MIMO) detection. To avoid under-determined problems caused by channel estimation using insufficient non-orthogonal pilot sequence, iterative channel estimation is effective, where the temporary criterion based on iterative detection is utilized as an additional pilot sequence. However, the high level bit error ratio (BER) floor is unavoidable due to modeling errors which are caused by decision errors included in the additional pilot sequence in the previous method. For mitigating the negative effects of the modeling errors, a modified covariance matrix is designed. Finally, the validity of using the proposed method for suppressing BER floor level is confirmed by computer simulations. |
