Abstract(in English) | The network functions virtualization (NFV) becomes popular. Research of the service function chaining (SFC) which makes routes of virtual network functions (VNFs) for creating services to satisfy the user’s request has been conducted. It is necessary to solve the VNF allocation problem of the SFC to guarantee the quality of service (QoS) against the environmental fluctuation such as dynamically requested chain creations. To achieve QoS guaranteed SFC rearrangement, it is necessary to minimize the number of VNF movements because rearranging all the chains requires interruption of service. The biological attractor selection is a control method commonly found in the brain and ecology of living organisms. It is suboptimal control method, however, it can operate adaptively to environmental fluctuation. In this paper, we propose a VNF allocation method using the biological attractor selection in order to solve the QoS guaranteed VNF placement problem so as to reduce the number of VNF movements. |
