Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As a communication method, the hearing impaired mainly use sign language, writing, lip reading. However, the fact is that barriers exist in an active participation for hearing impaired in conversation because it takes time and labor and there are not enough supports. In this research, we propose a speech recognition system aimed at conversation support of the hearing impaired. We place plural microphones on the edge of the AR glasses, record the speech, and present the direction of the conversation partner and the conversation contents on the display of the AR glasses. We report results on experiments using this system.
