Abstract(in English) Recently, the energy consumption in data centers is increasing. The authors are working on the research and development of the High-speed Optical Layer 1 Switch system for Time slot switching based optical data center networks (HOLST) for energy reduction of data center networks. In this paper, we derive rack group sharing the PLZT optical switch by linear programming and heuristic algorithm. As a result of the simulation using assumed traffic model, the heuristic algorithm computing takes stable short time of approximately 800 milli seconds per plane, and traffic accommodation volume of the heuristic algorithm is sufficiently close to linear programming.
