Extraction of Factor Genes by Comparing Sequence Mutations in Gene Regions Based on NGS Data

Abstract(in English) In this study, a method was proposed for determining differential mutations in next generation sequencing datasets from multiple myeloma cell lines cultured under normal and hypoxic conditions. Many differential mutations were found around tumor suppressor genes, suggesting that those genes play a role in hypoxia tolerance. The obtained gene expression data was statistically processed to extract candidate disease factor genes. These results indicated the usefulness of the proposed method.
