Pitch Estimation Using Windowless Weighted Auto-correlation Function

Abstract(in English) In this paper, using Weighted Auto-Correlation Function of normalized spectrum, we propose a pitch estimation method in noisy environments. In the conventional methods to use correlation function, there are problems where it assumes whiteness of noise and a lot of double/half pitch error occurs. In the proposed method, we make the noise white by spectral normalization, and improve estimation accuracy by windowlessing the Weighted Auto-Correlation method that provides a good performance. Experimental results show that the proposed method effectively works in both non-white and non-stationary noise environments.
