Abstract(in English) An image reflecting tissue water diffusion constant is obtained with the diffusion weighted image (DWI) using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In order to estimate the transverse relaxation time of each tissue with different diffusion components, a method with transverse relaxation prepared pulse was considered. The DWI sequence program was examined by a phantom. As a result, images with a black band were observed. This phenomenon is commonly known in a method with steady state magnetization pulses. Our sequence program with a composite pulse cannot perfectly reduce the influence of the nonuniformity of the magnetic field. Further improvements are needed to reduce the effects of magnetic field inhomogeneities.
