Abstract(in English) | Portable wireless LAN systems using mobile routers and tethering terminals have been increasing. In such an environment where multiple WLAN systems exist, the throughput of the entire WLAN system may be improved due to the capture effect by simultaneous transmission of frames. The previous studies mainly evaluate the performance in a homogeneous environment where the transmission rate and the terminal distance of both WLAN systems are same. However, in real environments, although it is considered that the transmission rate and the terminal distance in WLAN systems are different, the evaluation in such environment is insufficient. Therefore, in this paper, we experimentally evaluate the throughput by comparing the different situations the distance between the terminal and AP and transmission rate of WLAN systems are different. |
