Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Portable Wireless LAN systems using a mobile access point (AP) have been increasing. However, it is expected that the throughput can be improved by considering parallel transmission caused by capture effect. A media access control using capture effect considering frame collision in WLAN as well as collision between WLANs has been proposed (SACA method). It is confirmed that the SACA method achieves higher throughput than existing method in the case where the number of WLAN is two or the number of terminals in the WLAN increases. However, assuming an actual cafe or conference room, it is considered that there are multiple WLANs and several patterns of position of terminals and APs. Therefore, in this paper, we evaluate the throughput performance of SACA method in the environments where multiple WLANs are densely placed. The simulation results show that the SACA method improves the throughput than existing method in the environment where multiple WLANs are densely placed to some extent.
