Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Wireless local area network (WLAN) based on IEEE802.11 has become popular, and it usually uses CSMA/CA for a media access control. In the CSMA/CA, it is known that data frame collision often occurs if the number of wireless terminals increases. This problem decreases the total throughput of terminals connected to the same Access Point (AP). To solve this problem, a media access control method based on synchronization phenom- ena of coupled oscillators (SP-MAC) has been proposed. Furthermore, although the previous study proposed a throughput guarantee method based on SP-MAC, it did not consider the case when different TCP versions coexist. Therefore, in this study, we propose a QoS control considering difference of throughput between different TCP versions. Next, this paper evaluates the effectiveness of the proposed method by simulation experiments. As a result, we found that the proposed method can control the throughput between different TCP versions and keep the throughput high same as SP-MAC. |
