| Abstract(in English) | Network monitoring systems adopt network traffic analysis technologies to realize the stable operation of large-scale business systems. However, it is necessary to compute the a variety of parameters, for example, onesfor machine learning algorithms, according to the prior information about the monitoring target systems, when applying such network monitoring systems. To solve the problem, with a network monitoring system adopting anomaly detection and cause identi cation technologies, we propose a parameter setting automation method that analyzes the characteristics of the monitoring target system according to the time-series data input, and computes the parameters fitting the system automatically. The proposed method is able to reduce the cost of parameter setting during the introduction phase of network monitoring systems. As a preliminary evaluation for the proposed method, we have proved the feasibility of the proposed method by the prototype implementation, and have evaluated the accuracy of the traffic characteristics recognition. |
