Abstract(in English) In recent years, short distance optical fiber transmission is interested due to the development in wireless communications. The use of large core optical fibers such as graded-index silica multi-mode fibers and graded-index plastic optical fibers is a cost-effective solution In this work, we evaluate and compare the transmission performance of superimposed analog and digital signals using graded-index silica multi-mode fibers, graded-index plastic optical fibers and bend-insensitive graded-index plastic optical fibers.
