A Study on Availability Design of a Building Microgrid with In-vehicle Battery

Abstract(in English) We address the so-called availability of power supply in a building microgrid with in-vehicle battery. In order to archive a desirable degree of availability by design, we use the technique of model predictive control for managing multiple distributed power sources (including the in-vehicle battery) in the building microgrid. Effectiveness of the management is examined with numerical simulations.
