Abstract(in English) | Largely classified as an indoors positioning technology, there are already methods which use sound for positioning with 10cm accuracy. Both sounds and radio versions of this technology rely on a fixed set of beacons with known coordinates, which are used to calculate coordinates for mobile devices within the space. This paper attempts to formulate a method which calculates coordinates for one device relative to other devices in a swarm. The key assumption is that there are no fixed beacons, which means that each device has to rely on several neighbors for relative positioning. This paper presents the related network coding method and its sound-based implementation. |
