Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is known in the Yakushido hall in Tochigi prefecture that the roaring dragon "Nakiryu" phenomenon which can be heard by the unique sound like a bell sound occurs because the sounds emitted in the hall are multiply reflected between the ceiling and floor. It is also known that the Nakiryu phenomenon is caused by the beat in the reflected sound due to a slight curvature of the ceiling called "Mukuri". In this study, the Nakiryu phenomenon is numerically reproduced by the sound field rendering which can accurately analyze the three-dimensional sound field including wave property. The relationship between Mukuri shape and beat is numerically examined. In the numerical experiments, the several models with different ceiling shapes are calculated by the sound field rendering. It is found by the numerical experiments that the beat in the impulse response is caused by two reflected waves which have the slightly different turnaround time between the ceiling and floor due to the shape of the ceiling. It is also found that the period of the beat represents the characteristics of the Nakiryu.
