An Investigation into the Characteristics of Source Code for Supporting Inline Method

Abstract(in English) Inline Method is refactoring which puts a method body into its caller andremove the method. Although this refactoring is frequently performed, there exists no tool to support Inline Method. To facilitate this problem, a tools that supports Inline Method is necessary, however, it is unclear which method is effective for supporting Inline Method. To develop a tool that supports Inline Method, we investigated the characteristicsof targets of Inline Method. We also devised methods for supporting Inline Method based on my investigationresults.
