Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The number of neonates with development disorder is increasing in Japan. Very early intervention in development disorder is effective to decrease the symptom of the disorder, however, early detection of development disorder is difficult. We have proposed the spatiotemporal statistical shape model (stSSM) construction method for the very early detection of development disorder. Based on principal component analysis, our previous method constructs statistical shape models at arbitrary time points. However, our previous method cannot construct temporally continuous stSSM. This paper constructs the temporally continuous neonatal brain stSSM by regularizing Eigen vectors in time direction. The method has been validated by applying the method to 12 neonatal brains whose revised ages are between -5 to 200 days.
