Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We applied the supportive protective system (SPS), which was newly established to reduce residual risks, to a virtual tunnel construction site. At the work site, we introduced a mobile robot instead of heavy machinery used at tunnel construction site. In this research, we introduced a beacon sensor system to grasp worker's position information and made a qualitative comparison with the UWB sensor system used in the previous demonstration experiment. In the present study, a beacon sensor system was introduced to acquire information of worker’s location. The result derived from the beacon system was compared with that of the UWB sensor system used in the previous study. As a result, the information acquired by the UWB sensor system was more precise than that of the beacon sensor system. On the other hand, beacon sensor would be useful to acquire biometric information of workers such as pulse rate, body temperature, and posture, etc). In the further study, we are planning to use devices that meet the need of the work sites.
