Abstract(in English) | In the conventional modulation method using a parametric loudspeaker, a resonance frequency of an ultrasonic element is used as the carrier frequency of an amplitude modulated wave. However, by emitting the amplitude modulated wave for a long time, fatigue failure of the element causes, a spectral peak noise also occurs. Thus we proposed the noise reduction method to design the amplitude modulated wave with the frequency modulated carrier wave. Finally, we evaluated noise reduction performance through objective evaluation experiments on the sound pressure of the noise. |
