Abstract(in English) A Japanese compound sentence can be translated into various patterns of English sentence, such as simple sentences, compound sentences, and complex sentences by the ways of estimating the values of unit-information and the ways of using connectives . I am going to classify the combinations of unit-information and connectives in Japanese compound sentences, using the examples of Japanese-English translation.
