Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents an adaptive blind speech separation (BSS) technique for recovering original speech source signals from observed signals without a prior knowledge about convolutive mixing process in a time-varying environment. Recently, approximate joint diagonalization has been applied successfully to BSS utilizing quasi-stationary source signals in time-invariant reverberant environment. It was shown that the DMDI algorithm is capable of providing a superior separation performance in long reverberant environment. In this paper, the proposed approach is an extension of the DMDI algorithm into adaptive blind signal processing. Numerical experience shows that the adaptive DMDI algorithm has a good tracking capability.
