Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is important to give patients an extrinsic motivation based on rewards to their successful experience in order to manage their rehabilitation smoothly. We have promoted a cognitive rehabilitation which can make their self-efficacy enhanced by having an influence on their brain reward system with experienced video of daily living. However, the extrinsic motivation has some limitations to improve their self-efficacy. It is necessary to give them an intrinsic motivation in order to enhance their self-efficacy. This paper proposes an ADL VR training support system which can promote an intrinsic motivation and verifies the effectiveness. In addition, we discuss the possibility of the proposed system to cognitive rehabilitation.
