Abstract(in English) | Mobile data traffic continues to explode in recent years. Among the traffic, video traffic occupies a quite large proportion, thus, efficient utilization of finite network resources is mandatory. In this paper, we aim to improve Quality of Service (QoS) for DASH distribution by applying OpenFlow which provides a dynamic bandwidth control by considering ON-OFF cycles of video streaming. In addition, we validate that fair bandwidth allocation achieves QoS and Quality of Experience (QoE) fairness for video distribution among four users. |
